This citrus-infused gin sangria celebrates the sunshine. It is an amazing drink, and paired with the right decanter, it can be used over and over to keep this libation literally on tap.
My favorite beverage decanter for parties is a beautiful three-piece wonder. It comes apart for easy cleaning and the spigot magically works with an excellent flow to fill up your fancy glasses. But, if you would like to take my advice and keep this infused gin sangria on tap, I suggest this glass refrigerator beverage decanter.
Ingredients (Serves 18)
2 Cups Gin
2 750ml bottles of Sparkling Rosé
2 12oz cans of Natural Seltzer
4 Whole Limes, sliced, not peeled
5 Whole Lemons, sliced, not peeled
4 Whole Oranges, sliced, not peeled
1-1/2 Cups of Sugar
The day before
In the fridge decanter, combine the gin, limes, lemons, oranges, and sugar. The gin pulls out the natural oils in the citrus which gives you the amazing infused flavor. No need to buy the best gin, but better is better.
Serving day
Add the bottles of sparkling rosé and cans of natural seltzer and stir.
Make sure to clear the way to the spigot, so the liquid gets through without much hassle. Further, when completing the first-day ingredients consider making pansy ice cubes made in these awesome ice cube trays. I love serving this citrus-infused gin sangria in a highball glass with a pansy ice cube, and a strawberry garnish.
To keep it on tap
Keep the first-day ingredients of limes, lemons, oranges. Add 1 cup of gin, 1 cup of sugar, 1 bottle of Sparkling Rosé, and 2 cans of Natural Seltzer.
This citrus-infused gin sangria is my beverage of choice to serve any sunny celebration. Let me know what you think. xohh
